- There will be opportunities for all skill levels.
- We are looking for committed players who want to improve their skills as well as beginners who want to learn the game.
We are offering several programs this winter depending on a players commitment level.
General Information
EXCITING NEWS!!!!
I am happy to announce that starting this Winter Session 2025-2026 FC United Club team has joined forces with AGH Club in a collaborative effort to provide our players with the best resources in hockey history. In a constant attempt to better our players experiences we have decided to come together and offer our players a variety of options. Our goal is to have something for everyone and give our players the attention they need and deserve. Our FC United coaching staff will work side by side with the AGH coaching staff so that every player has a positive experience, reach their individual goals and potential and become the best players they can be. We aim to grow the sport of field hockey every day. We can't wait to start this journey with you.
ALL FCU Coaches will be coaching this winter. Don't worry we aren't going anywhere.
Note we will be now running practices out of 3 facilities ( all in Greenwich).
Step 1: Register for Winter Tryouts or program not requiring tryouts ( U10 & Clinics) All players registered will be placed on a team. There will be NO CUTS. Note when you register the registration tab will take you directly to the AGH site. All registrations will be on that site. You may need to create a new account on that site.
Step 2: Attend the 2 - 3 player assessment dates below for team placement. All players should attend all tryout dates for their age group.

Assessment Dates
Winter player assessment dates will take place on:
AGE GROUPS: (age group definitions)
U10: No tryouts or cuts, players register directly for program.
U12-U19: Tryouts for training group and team placement
All players must be registered for tryouts in order to be put into training groups. This includes existing players.
High school players MUST BE FINISHED with their seasons in order to tryout.

Season Dates: December 3, 2025 - February 22, 2026 ( No Training : December 15, 2025 - January 2, 2025 Winter Break)
TRAVEL TEAM OPTION
Practices: Mondays & Wednesday (6:30 - 8:00 pm )
Practice Location: Greenwich Country Day School
Tournaments/ Winter Series Play: Players will be attending 4-6+ Weekend tournaments ( Saturday or Sunday).
These tournaments will either be travel tournaments (NJ or PA ) or local in house winter series play ( in Greenwich). Dates will be provided on the team schedule. Players expected to RSVP/attend all events unless excused or otherwise arranged
Cost: U10 ($1200)

U12

Players will be invited on our Elite team following assessments. Note will constant coaches evaluations, players can move up or down team levels based on performance.

Tournaments/ Winter Series Play: Players will be attending 5-7 Weekend tournaments ( Saturday or Sunday).
These tournaments will either be travel tournaments (NJ or PA ) or local in house winter series play ( in Greenwich). Dates will be provided on the team schedule. Players expected to RSVP/attend all events unless excused or otherwise arranged
Cost: U12 ($1900)
National Events: National Indoor Tournaments or Major Events are by selection and additional commitment/fee
Option 2: Travel Team
Players will be placed on a team following assessments. Note will constant coaches evaluations, players can move up or down team levels based on performance.

Price will vary depending on modified attendance requests.
U12 ACADEMY OPTIONS:
Academy Option 1: Practice only player. Attend no tournaments or winter series play
Fee: $900.00
Academy Option 2: Halftime Travel. Attend 1 practice a week and half of the tournament/winter series events scheduled for your team (btw. 2-4). Does not qualify to compete on an NIT team.
Fee $1000
Academy Option 3: Lite Travel. Attend 2 practice a week and attend 1-2 tournament/winter series events scheduled for your team . Does not qualify to compete on an NIT team.
Fee $1200

UNIFORMS
All new players must order a uniform. Any players needing a new uniform or individual pieces may also order but will be secondary to new orders.
USA FIELD HOCKEY MEMBERSHIP
As a USA Field Hockey Sanctioned Club, ALL TEAM PLAYERS MUST HAVE a valid USA Field Hockey Membership.
